Over the next few weeks we will introduce you to our team, a team made up of independent thinkers, that do not always follow trends but rather in making choices that provide answers and lead to happiness. Good design starts and ends with attention to detail. It is the belief that homes should reflect your spirit and the way you love to live. True inspiration comes to each team member from the lives they share with their friends and family and introducing them to you will give you a little insight into the RSH design philosophy.
Grace Talbert
Raised in Houston, Grace has always been enamored with shoes and home décor. Her style is apparent at every turn; she is a beautiful redhead who looks just as put together in jeans and a t shirt as she does in daily work/meeting attire. She possesses a unique blend of characteristics. She is the first to tear up when a colleague has a special story to tell or is in need and the first to aggressively conquer a delivery problem from a vendor. She has gained great respect from the design community in her ability to mix classic design with trendy accents. One vendor and friend, Mary Bevil, told me that Grace once walked into a showroom with a small fabric swatch and walked out having created a full bedding line that would be sold in a national catalog. The bedding collection went on to be one of the greatest hits for the retailer and gained Grace a reputation in the market of having the “it” factor. Some of her best designs come out between midnight and 2 am, so mornings at RSH are always full of surprises.
An eternal optimist at heart, Grace understands how important it is to find and present new products for our customers, products that fit their lifestyle. She relishes in presenting the product in unique ways that work in the tiniest of homes or in the grandest spaces.
