At my house, we put away Thanksgiving dinner dishes and don't see them again till after January 6. Through the Christmas season, we have Christmas dinnerware, and it's a sweet tradition my daughters have loved since they were small. They don't actually squeal these days as they used to, but it's a warm Christmas tradition we love to love. Every meal on Christmas plates! I bought service for 12 in England where it's made, and because of a tiny flaw here or there, walked away feeling like I'd stolen the lot! That's Stoke-onTrent, England, might even be worth a trip. Seems like all china is made right there, and there are endless opportunities for seconds! I chose this pattern many many years ago; loved it for the angels on the border...reminder of the Reason for the season! The yellow saucer and blue cup are my regulars... in which coffee tastes its absolute richest ...will miss it till January 7, something to look forward to after the crush of the season!
